About me and my therapy practice

In my therapy sessions, we will work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behaviour. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable and practical tools to help you cope with life’s obstacles. I’m confident you’ll find my personalised therapy beneficial and inspirational. Due to my experience, I have a unique psychiatric insight into not only medications effects upon people but also the effects of more complex mental health conditions overlapping them, I feel that my personally targeted sessions will help better provide you with practical coping skills and strategies in order for you to actively combat potentially damaging reactions. Sessions can be done on any media platform which you feel comfortable with, individually tailoring our 50 minute therapy sessions around an environment that you feel safe and comfortable in, to enhance the trust which I will actively be positively reinforcing.

Practice description

I have travelled the world in my youth and explored the wonders of many differing cultures and societies, all adding to the completeness of whom I am today and opening up my perception of the world in which we all live. I would describe my therapeutic alignment as being a Person—Centred, Relationally, Integratively & Existentially—focused Psychotherapist whom is tirelessly committed to helping others better understand themselves. I have worked clinically within the NHS psychiatric sector for over 13 years, dealing with extreme trauma, abuse, neglect as well as a full plethora of more complex mental health conditions, always seeking to help others psychologically heal. I have my Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am also a registered member of both the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and adhere to both their ethical guidelines. Finally, I have dedicated my life towards helping others at the darkest time of their lives, when they cannot see the light through the darkened web of their mind and often feel helpless, incredibly alone and isolated.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute consultation via the phone and after this, I send a comprehensive assessment form, which asks more detailed questions regarding where your at psychologically within your current life. I have been trained in assessments and am skilled within this area.
