Availability
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk through whatever’s on your mind. Right now, I have availability for in-person, Zoom, and walking therapy on Mondays, and I can also offer some online sessions in the evenings from Tuesday to Friday. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, or just need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen and help you work through things at your own pace. Reach out if you'd like to chat about how we could work together.About me and my therapy practice
In my therapy sessions, I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is person-centred, meaning you are the expert in your own life. I believe you have the answers within yourself, and my role is to help guide you toward discovering them. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you make sense of what's going on in your life, whether it’s a specific issue, a challenging life event, or a desire for personal growth.
I draw on my 20+ years of experience in the emergency services, where I developed a deep understanding of how stress and mental health can impact lives. This has shaped my empathetic, patient, and active listening approach in therapy. Whether you’re looking for support with anxiety, depression, relationships, or simply want a clearer understanding of yourself, I’m here to walk that path with you.
Practice description
My practice style is all about creating a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to be yourself. I take a person-centred approach, which means that instead of imposing solutions, I work alongside you to help you find your own answers. We move at your pace, addressing what feels most important to you. I believe that real change comes from within, so I focus on helping you connect with your inner resources and strengths.
Having spent over 20 years in the emergency services, I’ve seen how stress and emotional strain can build up. This experience informs the way I work, allowing me to bring empathy, patience, and deep listening into every session. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, or simply need space to process things, my goal is to meet you where you are, and offer support that’s tailored to you.
My first session
Before our first session together we will have a 15min call to understand each other and for you to ask any questions about how i work and how we will work together. This let me get a better understanding of who you are and i i can best support you in our time together.
Once we agree to move forward i will send you our contract, privacy notice and well being self assessment. This will allow our first session to be solely focussed on you and how you want to progress.
