Practice description
I believe in the power of integrating person-centred, intuitive and psychodynamic methods to meet the unique needs of each client
• Person-Centred Therapy - You are at the heart of our work together. I strive to create a warm, empathetic environment where you feel heard and valued which gives you time to untangle your experiences
• Intuitive approach - I trust my instincts to help guide our sessions, to uncover underlying issues that may not be immediately apparent to you
• Psychodynamic Therapy - Over time you may find it helpful to explore how past experiences have had an influence over current behaviour and emotions. This type of deeper exploration can provide a deeper understanding and lasting change.
I feel counselling is considered for a wide range of reasons - To be supported through and explore specific areas, such as relationship issues, work stress, addictions, depression, anxiety, bereavement, various types of abuse
Although, often counselling can simply be a space to reflect, be heard and learn more about yourself in a place that is outside of your everyday world.
My first session
You have complete autonomy on what you wish to bring to each session. You can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental atmosphere where we work together to navigate challenges, understand your needs and discover your strengths. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or seeking personal growth, I am here to support you.
Our first session is slightly different as we gently slide through some questions so I can gain an understanding of you, your experiences and your needs
