About me and my therapy practice
The warmest of welcomes. I am hugely proud of you that you have taken the step to ask for help, this can be the hardest thing for many people and is extremely brave. I look forward to supporting you and helping you live the life you dream of.
“No matter how big the problem feels, I am here to help, offering you a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions and challenges, compassionately supported and completely accepted as you are. I celebrate my clients as they are and recognise the struggles they are facing, I offer you the chance to be truly seen, heard and valued. Together we can overcome your challenges. Anything is possible. You are not alone. I believe in empowering my clients, helping them thrive and live the life they dream of free from depression, anxiety and negative emotions. Working together, I will help you to feel empowered and find the strength within yourself to make the changes you want to and live the life you thought was impossible because impossible can be changed to I’m possible”,
I believe that everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilling life. I offer a unique opportunity for you to be listened to by a trained therapist in a warm and supportive environment where you can explore your challenges and develop the tools you need to thrive. I offer a space that is a haven away from the daily struggles allowing you the time to take a breath and work through your emotions and situation. I work with the core belief that I am continually on your side and fighting for you in your corner - hearing you, understanding you and working with you to perhaps see things differently, say goodbye to negative emotions and truly feel at peace with yourself.
I offer clients who wish to be seen in person, two locations conveniently located in the heart of Sevenoaks or The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells.
Practice description
I am a qualified counsellor with extensive experience helping young people and adults navigate a wide range of life’s challenges. Here’s a closer look at my background and approach:
Areas of Expertise: Anxiety, depression, trauma (including sexual abuse), bereavement (human and pet), diabetes, relationship issues, career challenges, chronic health conditions, neurodiversity, pre and post-natal, infertility and couples counselling.
Therapeutic Approach: I utilise a person-centred foundation, incorporating elements of gestalt therapy, transactional analysis CBT and psychodynamic approaches to create a personalised experience for each client.
Experience: I have a wealth of experience supporting individuals from all walks of life. I draw on my work with people from diverse backgrounds and my own personal experiences to develop a deep understanding of the challenges my clients face. This allows me to provide a unique and empathetic perspective, regardless of your situation.
Empathy and Acceptance: By drawing on my own life experiences, I foster a space of understanding and acceptance. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship where my clients feel safe to be themselves and explore their vulnerabilities.
Extensive Experience, Tailored Support: I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. I have worked locally with many clients and recently completed work and training within the area of grief counselling to those facing pre- and post-bereavement, and nationally, I have worked with survivors of trauma and sexual abuse, both within families and from external circumstances. Some of these adults have also experienced domestic violence.
I have helped clients overcome issues no matter how large the challenge may seem, sometimes it is a build-up of those small things that hurt us the most or sometimes the challenge feels like the hugest of mountains we don’t ever dream we could conquer, no matter the size, I am here to help you.
