About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Anna a dedicated and experienced counsellor working in person and online. If you find yourself on this page then I imagine you are in need of some support at this time. Perhaps you have been through or are going through a crisis, at a crossroads in life, or simply want to get to know yourself better. I am here to listen with care and sensitivity to your concerns, regardless of how distressing or upsetting your experiences or feelings may be.
Do you feel lost, stuck, unfulfilled, low or sad? Perhaps unsure and fearful of how to make changes or where to even start? Are you looking for clarity, confidence and a greater sense of calm? Feeling this way can affect your sense of well-being, how you operate day to day, your sleep, your mood, how you feel about yourself and others.
My approach is humanistic and holistic which means we will look at everything that makes you who you are – an individual with a unique history, set of experiences, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We will look at how you connect with yourself, others and the world around you.
I understand that reaching out for help can feel really difficult. I have had the privilege of working with and supporting a diverse range of clients, each with their unique stories and challenges. My role is to welcome you and for you to feel seen and heard. We will explore your past, present and future, aiming to move away from simply functioning to living a more fulfilling life. I will actively support you in setting realistic, achievable goals. We will then work together using my insight and knowledge to tap into your inner resources in order to reach your full potential.
My core values as a therapist are to use my knowledge, intuition and commitment to help you to feel better about yourself and your life. I strongly believe that by working together, you can uncover inner resources and strengths that will give you the tools you need to move through challenge and thrive.

Practice description
I work from home in Bristol both in person and online. I offer short term therapy (usually 6-12 weeks) and long term, depending on your circumstances and need. Sessions are usually weekly.
I offer a warm and compassionate space for you to freely explore your story without judgement. I will listen attentively and sensitively collaborating with you on your journey towards healing and growth. My role is to use evidence based therapeutic frameworks to support you.
