About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Anna a dedicated and experienced counsellor working in person and online. If you find yourself on this page then I imagine you are in need of some support at this time. Perhaps you have been through or are going through a crisis, at a crossroads in life, or simply want to get to know yourself better. I am here to listen with care and sensitivity to your concerns, regardless of how distressing or upsetting your experiences or feelings may be.

It's a common misconception that you should try and manage on your own, only seeking therapy when things get really bad. This isn't true. It's ok to give counselling a go at any point in your life, whatever your background. You don't have to manage alone.

My background is in education specialising in early years and families, additional needs and modern foreign languages. My therapeutic qualifications include a postgraduate level 6 diploma in humanistic and integrative counselling and a postgraduate diploma in transformational coaching.

Alongside my private practice I have worked for the charity Changes, supporting those struggling with feelings of stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness in Bristol, and within the NHS supporting patients at a local GP surgery.

I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique stories and challenges.

Please visit my website or get in touch for more details on the services I offer.
