About me and my therapy practice
I'm Lucy, an experienced counsellor offering one to one, in person and online counselling sessions to adults (18+)
I employ an integrative therapy model, drawing upon a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to you, your unique needs and experiences.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of circumstances and issues such as depression, anxiety, overwhelm, perinatal and post natal depression, trauma, parenting issues, loss, bereavement, relationship difficulties, identity, and life transitions to name a few.
Practice description
I understand that reaching out and coming for counselling can be a big and daunting step and so creating a trusting relationship which gives you the support you need is central to the way I work.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and supportive of your individual needs, helping you to feel seen, heard and understood. I endeavour to create a safe space in which we can collaborate and explore the issues which bring you to therapy. During our sessions together we can go at a pace which works for you, helping you to process your experiences and find a sense of clarity.
I offer weekly, 50 minute sessions in person in Bradford on Avon, central Bath, and online. My Bradford on Avon private practice is located on the Bath side of Bradford on Avon (easily accessible from Corsham, Melksham and Chippenham), and free parking is readily available.
Please do get in touch for a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your needs, session availability and our compatibility.
My first session
The first session is 50 minutes long and includes an initial and informal assessment in which we will discuss your concerns and what brings you to therapy. We will also look at your potential therapeutic goals.
