About me and my therapy practice
Welcome,
It can be incredibly difficult to navigate life's challenges on your own. Having a confidential space for you to talk can be the first step towards making positive changes in your life.
I am a fully qualified therapist and counsellor, working in an integrative way. This means that I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs.
In addition to my private practice, I work in a number of agencies and counselling settings. Through these experiences, I help clients across different age groups, from a variety of backgrounds, and with a wide range of presenting concerns.
I have lived and worked in other countries in Europe and Latin America, which has enriched my social perspective. In my encounters with others, I remain curious, open and culturally sensitive.
Practice description
I work with clients online or in person at one of my two consulting rooms: Streatham Hill (SW2) and Battersea / Clapham Junction (SW11).
I offer a supportive therapeutic relationship in which you can find safety and acceptance. Together we can create a reflective and empathetic space where you will be able to explore what troubles you. Here, all of your feelings are welcome.
We might seek to understand the relationship between past and present, your wishes, losses, hopes, and fears. In this way, we can work towards a happier, healthier way of being with yourself and others in the world.
My work is collaborative, ensuring you have a choice regarding the content and pace of our sessions.
In my practice, I work creatively where it may help to find new ways of communicating your experiences. This might include gently bringing mind and body together through mindfulness techniques, using imagery or visualisation.
My first session
To help you decide whether you would like to work with me, I offer an initial session at a reduced fee of £40.
In this first session, we will discuss your concerns, your goals for counselling, and how we can work together.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
