About me and my therapy practice
Life can bring up complex emotions, and therapy is a space for you to explore what you have been holding. You are not alone; I am here to be alongside you.
I offer long-term and short-term therapy, in-person and online, via Zoom. In-person counselling sessions are in comfortable and confidential rooms in the Twickenham and Richmond TW area and from an accessible room in Hampton Hill. Both locations have direct transport links and are easily accessible by train or bus from Teddington, Whitton, Strawberry Hill, Kingston and Richmond.
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a First-Class BA (Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling Degree. I am experienced in working with a wide range of topics, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, disability, emotional regulation, low self-esteem, loss, neurodiversity, relationship problems, trauma and other psychological difficulties. In addition to my private practice, I have three years of experience as an in-house Psychotherapist in an NHS GP practice.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I honour your uniqueness and recognise that one approach does not fit all. My therapy style is warm, and I draw from various therapeutic models and theories, such as Person-Centred, Polyvagal, Humanistic, Somatic, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Gestalt and CBT. In my practice, I am guided by your needs and collaborate with you to discover how the space can best support you by combining different therapeutic approaches to provide a personalised model that ensures you get the most from your sessions.
Practice description
It is understandable that you may feel apprehensive about taking the first step into counselling. My goal is to provide you with a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your feelings. When we first meet, I will listen to your story without judgment and understand what has brought you to therapy. Exploring at a pace that is comfortable for you, therapy will become a space where you can feel seen and heard as you reflect, discover, and process what has been troubling you.
My first session
Choosing the right therapist is central to the effectiveness of counselling, so I believe it is important for you to decide if I am the therapist for you.
I offer a free, 20-minute introductory call. This time is an opportunity for you to share what you seek to explore in counselling, discuss your hopes and anxieties, answer any questions, and get a sense of whether you'd like to work together. If we decide to proceed, we will discuss the counselling agreement and fees and arrange your first session.
