Perhaps past or present experiences are holding you back or undermining your self-esteem? Or maybe you just feel a general sense of dissatisfaction, that something is ‘not quite right’? These are things that together, we can explore.
How I work
As an integrative-relational counsellor, I use a variety of approaches to find the best fit for you. Most importantly, I work collaboratively, offering a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and supportive relationship where you can explore your situation and feelings with me.
I believe this process can lead to greater self-understanding and acceptance, providing insight into how past experiences may influence your present. This understanding can foster self-belief and enable you to make changes, move forward, and become more fully ‘you’. While confronting painful feelings can be tough, I believe the healing and growth that comes from working through them can be significantly fulfilling and healing.

What to expect
It can be daunting to choose a counsellor and I am very aware that this can feel overwhelming. I strongly believe that it is about our relationship that we develop and the importance for you to feel comfortable and that I am the right fit for you.
I offer a gentle and compassionate approach, challenging you appropriately while allowing you to set the pace and direction of our sessions.
My methods may include focusing on your daily experiences, understanding how past events have shaped your current self, or trying out new ways of thinking and interacting with yourself and others.
In our initial session, we will discuss the concerns that brought you to counselling, your goals, and the best way for us to work together.
I provide both in-person and online sessions, offering brief (six to twelve weeks) and open-ended therapy.

II hold a BA (Hons) degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling from Kingston College and Middlesex University.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics, values and principles.
I have been working as an in-house counsellor in an NHS setting for a number of years and prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate business for 20+ years so can understand the challenges and difficulties this brings along with trying to find a healthy work-life balance.

I also have availability from my room in Chessington on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is ample free parking in Chessington at the Medical Centre, where my room is.
