About me and my therapy practice

As your counsellor, I hope to work in partnership with you to explore and address areas you may be finding challenging at the moment. I believe that everyone has the inherent ability to solve their problems or face their difficulties, but sometimes we need assistance when we feel stuck. My role is to help you see your situation more clearly, understand how you are part of it, and experiment with finding new ways to resolve difficulties.

I aim to be beside you, supporting you in gaining awareness of your experiences while offering a compassionate and non-judgemental space to do so. True change, growth, and healing can occur as we develop self-awareness and discover meaning in our experiences. By becoming more aware of your own experiences and feelings, we can experiment together with new ways of being or accepting forgotten parts of yourself. 

Practice description

I currently offer face to face sessions in Waterloo, London. 

I take a holistic humanistic approach, recognising the intrinsic link between our thoughts, feelings, and bodies.

Together, we can explore how your past influences your present and whether your current ways of being still serve you. By recognising patterns from the past that may be hindering you, we can work on developing new, more effective responses. Sometimes, our methods of handling situations become rigid patterns, leading to beliefs about ourselves and others that hinder our understanding and pursuit of happiness.

I am optimistic that positive change is possible through our work together. Through gentle exploration together, we can work towards achieving a greater understanding and fuller acceptance of self. 

My first session

I offer a reduced rate of £40 for the initial session. In our first session we will explore the things you would like to focus on in therapy.
