About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced Integrative Counsellor, I specialise in bereavement support, offering a compassionate and understanding space for those navigating the complex emotions of loss. My approach is tailored to the unique needs of each client, blending a range of therapeutic modalities to provide holistic support. This flexibility allows me to meet clients where they are, whether they are seeking help with grief, anxiety, or personal growth.
In addition to my bereavement work, I have a strong background in supporting neurodivergent clients, particularly those with dyslexia. I am sensitive to the challenges they may face and aim to create a therapeutic environment that fosters acceptance and empowerment, using approaches that acknowledge and respect neurodiversity.
As someone with a musical background, I believe in the healing power of creativity and often incorporate creative elements into therapy. Whether through the use of music, art, or other forms of expression, I encourage clients to explore their emotions in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them. This creative dimension can be particularly helpful for those who struggle to articulate their feelings verbally or are looking for new ways to connect with their inner world.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. Whether you're grieving, managing life's transitions, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you on your journey to healing and self-discovery.

Practice description
I offer sessions either in King's Norton or online, with each lasting 50 minutes and typically held on a weekly basis. However, I am flexible and will do my best to accommodate clients who work irregular or unsociable hours. I strive to create a warm, friendly, and safe environment where clients can feel supported. I understand that discussing distressing issues can be challenging, so we will work together at a pace that feels right for you. I adhere to the BACP's ethical framework, ensuring your confidentiality is always a priority. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and I’ll get back to you promptly. Trainee counsellors are also welcome.
