Hello, I’m Azeema.  

Life can present challenges that feel overwhelming, and sometimes, it can seem like we don’t have the support or tools to manage them. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck, facing relationship difficulties, dealing with past wounds, or navigating significant life changes, I’m here to offer you a safe space to explore these emotions.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to face your struggles alone. Therapy provides an opportunity to be heard and supported, and together, we can work through the things that are troubling you. Whether you're looking to address a specific issue, better understand yourself, or simply need a space to express your thoughts and feelings, I am here to help you feel seen, valued, and supported.

As a qualified integrative counsellor, I offer a non-judgmental and inclusive environment, open to people from all backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold GMBPsS status with the British Psychological Society (BPS). With experience both in private practice and within the NHS, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, and understanding. I strive to create a warm, compassionate atmosphere where you can feel comfortable to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing and growth, and therapy is a collaborative journey. I am committed to walking alongside you as you navigate your path toward self-discovery, personal growth, and healing.

Practice description

As an integrative counsellor, I believe that therapy should be as unique as you are. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic approaches, Psychodynamic, and Behavioural models, allowing me to tailor our work together to suit your individual needs. This flexibility enables me to respond to your unique experiences and ensure that you feel heard, respected, and valued.

At the core of my practice is a client-centred approach, which means I work in a non-directive way, putting you in control of the pace and direction of our sessions. My goal is to support you in gaining insight, building resilience, and developing healthier coping strategies. I aim to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where we can work together to explore what matters most to you.


My first session

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but I am committed to making the process as comfortable and approachable as possible. To help you get to know me and understand how I work, I offer a free 15-minute introductory chat. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions, learn about my approach, and determine if we’d be a good fit for each other.

During our first session, I will conduct an initial assessment to better understand your background, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. This session is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the process. It’s important that you feel confident and comfortable, and this session will help us both decide if I’m the right therapist to support you on your journey.

If you decide to continue, we can schedule follow-up sessions to begin working towards your goals in a collaborative and supportive manner.
