About me and my therapy practice
I offer professional counselling and psychotherapy services, both online and in person, tailored to adults, young people, and students. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, aimed at gently soothing anxiety, fostering self-esteem, and empowering you to grow into a more confident version of yourself. As a trained psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace and sharing what feels right for you. I work with people experiencing great amounts of guilt, shame or pressure. Together, we’ll work towards achieving greater emotional balance and well-being.
By offering tools to manage overwhelming feelings and empowering people to regain control, we work towards healing and fostering resilience. The journey is personal and unique to each individual, and my role is to walk alongside you, providing steady guidance and unwavering support.
Practice description
I have worked with children, teenagers and adults. I currently also work with students to whom I offer a concessional rate. I offer support to uncover the root causes of struggles, soothe emotional distress, and empower to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
I practice psychodynamic therapy, which focuses on understanding how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence your present emotions and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore these underlying dynamics, helping you gain insight and clarity to create lasting change.
As a nurturing and compassionate therapist, I specialize in working with anxiety and depression. In our work, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to grow and thrive at your own pace.
My first session
For our first session, we can spend a few minutes getting to know eachother and you can ask any questions you have, especially if this is your first experience of counselling or therapy.
We'll also fill out a little document that helps me to gauge the type of support you need and where you're currently at. I practice in blocks of six. Where we review each six weeks to see how the work is going for you and what you'd like to focus on should we renew our work together.
