Practice description
I work in the Person-Centred modality, which allows me to work through whatever life challenges you may have at your pace.
My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, compassion, and having a non-judgemental stance.
My standard session lasts 50 minutes, although I would be happy to have longer sessions or shorter sessions, should this be more beneficial for you.
I offer short or long term therapy, bi-weekly or even monthly sessions, which we can discuss what would work best for you during our first session.
I have a fixed rate per session - although I also offer concessions based on your own financial circumstances, as I would hate money being a barrier for you gaining support.
I am flexible in how I approach therapy, as it is about supporting you and your own well-being and therefore happy to talk through any worries you may have about finances, dates, times during our first session.
Previously I worked supporting people experiencing homelessness and in financial difficulty and currently work as a suicide bereavement support practitioner. I also have experience supporting people with Dementia, Cancer and other life changing illnesses. I come with a wealth of life experience that can be of great support, as well as a caring attitude that will allow you to feel supported and safe during our sessions.
I work with all age ranges and genders.
I also offer a varied level of support either face to face, text, email or over the phone - what ever you are more comfortable with, I will be happy to accommodate.
My first session
I offer a reduced rate for our initial session.
Our first session will last 50 minutes as standard, and will cost £30, any following session will be at the rate that we have agreed during our first session.
Our initial session will be one where we can have a look at what your expectations would be from therapy, what you would like to explore, what is going on for yourself and what works best for you.
