About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Gestalt therapist with a passion for helping people understand the intricate connections between their minds and bodies.
After years in the finance world, I took a leap of faith to pursue what really ignites me – supporting others on their journey to self-discovery and healing. The holistic approach of Gestalt therapy resonated deeply with me, as I believe we’re all uniquely wired. Some of us are more in tune with our emotions, others with our thoughts, and some with our physical sensations.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and care in my practice. I’m deeply committed to ongoing professional development and regularly expand my training to stay current with the latest understanding of mental health issues that many of us face.
When I’m not in session, you might find me volunteering at a local charity in Gosport and as a listener for a national charity. I’m a firm believer in giving back to the community and find it keeps me grounded.
My clients often describe me as kind-hearted, open, and friendly. I strive to create a welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. No judgment, no pressure – just genuine support and guidance as we work together towards your goals.
Let’s connect and see if we’re a good fit for your therapy journey.
Practice description
At my practice, I offer Gestalt therapy – a holistic, humanistic approach that focuses on your present experiences, thoughts and feelings. Rather than overanalysing your past, I will help you understand how your history influences your current life.
We will look at you as a whole person, deeply interconnected with your environment and relationships. Our sessions will be focused in the present moment, exploring how you relate to situations and others. This can help you find a new, positive perspective on problems and bring about changes in your life.
I will provide a non-judgmental space in which you can express even your most intense or “unacceptable” emotions like rage, envy or shame. I won’t impose an agenda on you, I maintain an open approach, staying curious about who you are, allowing you to fully process your experiences free from criticism.
If you are looking for therapy that helps you understand yourself and your relationships better? That focuses on self-discovery, open and honest talks, and insights into how you typically behave with others. Reach out if you’d like a free intro session to see if I’m the right for you. No commitment required.
