About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist and registered dietitian. The therapeutic services I offer are neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirmative, weight neutral and gender inclusive. I enjoy working creatively too, and adapting therapy to suit your needs. I offer individual psychotherapy sessions and also food and eating support services, online.  Some people see me just for therapy, occasionally people will see me for a mixture of both.

I work in a way that adapts therapy to you and your needs (integrating multiple modalities- primarily from the person-centred, psychodynamic and relational approaches) and I work a lot with neurodivergent adults (late-diagnosed and/or self-identified).

Practice description

I currently work online via Zoom with adult clients.

I have a mixed practice of therapy clients (integrative, trauma informed, neuro-affirming approach) and clients who see me for nutrition counselling (weight neutral, non-diet and disordered eating support); and in appropriate circumstances some who see me for both.

Therapy clients most often see me weekly, for medium to long-term work, but there is no minimum/maximum limits to the number of sessions. We will tailor and review our work together, as we go.

The most important part is for you to find the right therapist, which is why the first session is always an assessment/ get to know you session.

My first session

First sessions or assessment sessions are charged at the normal rate. These sessions give us an opportunity to learn about each other (how I work and why you are seeking therapy) and to discuss the potential path forwards in working together.
