About me and my therapy practice
Life can sometimes be overwhelming and may leave you feeling stuck or lost without hope. I will offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly and gain a better understanding of your concerns without the fear of being judged. I will help you explore ways of making life more manageable and support you in developing your own coping strategies. I strongly believe that everyone has the potential to become the best version of themselves. I work integratively which means that I will use a variety of theoretical approaches to tailor our sessions according to your needs.
With my background as a yoga teacher, I believe in the body mind connection and have an interest in meditation, breath work and movement as a way of addressing mental health difficulties.

Talking therapy
I will help you understand yourself better, notice patterns of behaviour and learn new skills that you can apply to everyday life. We may also explore your past and its impact on you and your relationships in the present. During this process, I will support and challenge you with the aim of empowering you to create meaningful changes and live a more fulfilled life.
WALK & TALK – an alternative approach
If you don’t like the idea of sitting in a therapy room, try Walk & Talk! Walking side by side with your therapist, may be more comfortable for you and the perfect option If you prefer an open, more relaxed environment, providing you with a breath of fresh air while discussing your thoughts and feelings.
Walk & Talk combines movement, time in nature, and counselling, making it a popular choice. Movement supports the therapeutic process by releasing painful emotions and tension stored in the body. Engaging our senses while working through emotional experiences further creates a sense of grounding and body-mind connection.
Your issues are in your tissues – Therapeutic Yoga
Yoga can be a valuable addition to talking when we are stuck or struggling to make progress in therapy. We may understand the root causes of our difficulties and know what we need to change, yet are unable to do so. Our emotions simply weigh us down and get stuck in our bodies. As hard as our brain is trying to think us out of the situation, it’s getting nowhere. In these instances, it’s helpful to use the body to change the mind. Emotions need motion – therapeutic yoga encourages us to notice the physical sensations attached to our emotions in our bodies, to stay with them, accept and feel them rather than pushing them away and finally let them pass by moving through them.
My first session
Starting therapy can be daunting, so I offer a 15-minute free consultation to give you the opportunity to ask questions and make sure that I am the right therapist for you.
Once we have decided to work together, we will do an assessment as part of your first session. Our sessions will take place on a regular basis at a charge of £65 for 50 min in person or online.
