About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Grace, a person-centred counsellor specialising in nurturing relationships, intimacy, and overcoming shame. I work with individuals and couples, offering a compassionate space to explore and heal feelings of not being good enough and rebuild your self-worth.

Whether you're feeling stuck, longing to enhance your intimate connections, or needing gentle support through significant life changes, I'm here for you with warmth and understanding.

In today's world, it's easy to feel disconnected from others and even from ourselves. Have you lost touch with your true self? Are you feeling overwhelmed by shame or the effects of trauma in your life and relationships? I'm here to guide you through these emotions and help you rediscover your true identity.

I have experience and passion in helping clients with:

- Relationship issues, fostering deeper intimacy and communication

- Trauma recovery, including healing from childhood and adult sexual assault

- Emotional challenges such as shame, anxiety, depression, and self-criticism

- Navigating major life changes and identity rediscovery

- Adapting practices to accommodate neurodiversity and provide personalised support

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and have completed the PlayBook, a comprehensive guide to working with couples. I am committed to continuous professional development, as I am a self proclaimed theory geek and it is important to me, that I can support you in the best way possible. I update my website with courses and qualifications I have obtained.

Practice description

My approach is client-focused, helping you identify behavioural patterns and emotional blocks that may be affecting your connections with yourself and others.

With compassion at the heart of my practice, I aim to help you release shame and embrace your self-worth.

I use a blend of traditional and innovative methods tailored to your needs, including trauma-informed practices that honour your personal journey.

For Couples:

When working with couples, I focus on nurturing connection and communication. Have you lost who you are in this relationship?

Together, we'll find ways to cultivate kindness, understanding, intimacy and a fulfilling sex life, while gently addressing any underlying resentments.

My goal is to support your relationship’s growth and resilience. I respect and warmly welcome all forms of relationship dynamics.

Sexual Abuse

I have worked in the field of sexual and domestic abuse for over 10 years. I can support you if you have experienced sexual trauma, by looking at your memories safely to help you feel in control and take back your power to feel good enough again.

Getting Started:
