I work from my office in East Belfast. The sessions can be carried out online or face-to-face.

About me and my therapy practice

I aim to support my clients and give them a warm and positive therapy experience.

I support my clients by helping them to understand themselves and their emotions and to look at problems and emotions from a different perspective.

I help by providing the clients with coping techniques, to make them feel understood, empowered and valued.

I offer an unbiased and safe environment where clients can explore their feelings, and emotions and feel supported, providing them with a chance to move past and a hope for contentment.

In my practice, I work with adults, adolescents, and children (6 years +), with various problems, such as depression, anxiety, stress, and grief, behaviour, identity. 

Practice description

I work flexible hours and will always try to fit you in at a convenient time, including evenings and weekends.

I work to the professional and ethical standards of the BACP and value the fact that each client is unique and has unique needs in therapy. Through creative expression, connection, and compassion I work with clients who experience difficulty in finding the words to express their emotions. My role as a therapist is to support each of them in their journey for better well-being and to improve their resilience. The therapy is tailored to the needs of the individual client.

Sometimes we feel like we do not have anyone to talk to, to confide in. Our past might haunt us and we might feel like there is no escape from it.

We might want to clarify certain areas in life, face our own, sometimes very complex emotions, work through traumatic experiences, break negative thinking patterns, learn techniques for dealing with problems and everyday life, focus on personal development, and sometimes just be ourselves again and feel in control of your emotions, actions and life.

My role as a therapist is to support each of them in their journey for better well-being and to improve their resilience. My service is confidential, non-judgmental and professional. I believe everyone is an individual and we all need different forms of help at various stages of our lives. Therefore I work collaboratively with each client to provide the best possible, tailored service.

My first session

I offer free up to 20-minute telephone, online or in-person meetings, where we will discuss the practicalities of working together and you decide whether I am the therapist you want to work with.

Each person is different, and the frequency and length of therapy will vary. You will decide how often we meet and for how many sessions. Some clients need long-term support whereas others only brief short-term intervention.

I work in person in Belfast but also provide Online sessions.

I ensure your information is kept confidential. I adhere to the professional standards of BACP, HCPC, and BAAT. and that our sessions are secure with the platforms I use.

I can provide daytime, evening and weekend sessions to ensure we can find a convenient time for you.
