About me and my therapy practice
The past leaves its footprints in the future. You want to be happy but unprocessed loss, fear and trauma can keep affecting your everyday life so that, despite your best efforts, you find yourself reacting or overreacting to things that derail you, especially when life throws up challenges. This is where therapy can help. It helps to have someone walking alongside you as you find your path. I know that starting therapy can be daunting, so I use an integrated approach to create a safe and supportive environment where you will feel empowered to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together we will unpick patterns that no longer serve you, helping you build a more positive future.
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I have worked in depth on issues around parenting and the ongoing effects of damaging parental relationships. I work a lot with people who have lost their way and need help with feeling stuck. I am also interested in the impact our friends and family can have on our lives.
Practice description
I employ a blend of therapeutic techniques, adapting my approach to best support each individual’s journey towards healing and growth. I keep up to date with the latest developments and my ongoing training and use this to enhance the client experience. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am honoured to guide my clients as they unlock their potential and embrace change. Please reach out directly for a compassionate, client-centred therapeutic experience.
My first session
Therapy is all about relationships: the relationships with ourselves, with the people we love and with those around us. For this reason, therapy is most effective when there is strong working relationship between the client and the therapist. For this reason, I offer a free fifteen-minute introductory session where we can explore what you are looking to get from therapy and whether we would be a good fit. This would be held digitally and you can choose which platform you prefer. I can also meet over the phone if this would suit you better. Just reach out to schedule the call.
