About me and my therapy practice
I work as an Integrative counsellor and offer both online and face-to-face sessions. I offer a respectful client centred approach to help people regain their sense of identity and self-worth that very often is the key to self-development.
I believe we all have it in us to be our best selves and that comes with developing a better understanding off ourselves. I see clients who are often going through difficult and challenging times, and I can help you to process and overcome those difficult feelings. I also see clients who are generally happy but feel stuck in parts of their lives and need help to move forward.
Every client is unique and as an integrative counsellor, I tailor my practice to suit you as an individual, in the best way possible. I provide a safe space for you to be seen, heard and valued and a place in which you may find ways to help you cope with life's challenges in a more healthy and productive way.
Practice description
My work as an integrative counsellor enables me to focus my counselling on each person’s individual needs.Individual counselling - Many current issues can be the result of difficulties experienced in childhood, complicated by coping mechanisms which are no longer effective, leading to unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviour – or feelings of being lost, confused or scared. I can help you to understand yourself better, improve decision making and take steps towards becoming your true self.
Relationship counselling - couples come to therapy often feeling disillusioned, unhappy or insecure. We can work together to restore the trust and re-create that safe base needed for a secure relationship.
Grief Counselling - For some of us it can be difficult to return to normal life following the death of a loved one. Grief is painful, it can hurt deeply and often feels like a physical pain. Grieving moves through stages and healing can be slow over time. I can be there for you and offer a warm, empathic and safe place for you to feel understood during this grieving process.
