About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative transpersonal counsellor, working in Haywards Heath. I help my clients with a range of issues, including:
- Depression and loss of meaning
- Anxiety, self-criticism and resistance to change
- Anger management
- Bereavement, loss and grief
- Relationship problems and parenting issues
- Major life changes and transitions, particularly at mid-life
- Stress at work and difficulties with work/life balance
I provide a safe, therapeutic space where you can express your thoughts and feelings in your own way, without judgement. Meeting once a week for a 50-minute session, we’ll explore your difficulties together. I’ll provide support and sensitivity, plus an occasional gentle challenge, as we look for ways to reshape old, unhelpful patterns so you can heal, change and grow.
Sessions can be short-term, if you want to focus on a particular issue, or long-term, if you need ongoing support or want to work at a deeper level.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a wide range of counselling traditions and techniques. These include archetypal psychology, body psychotherapy, Gestalt contact work, psychodynamic practice and family systems theory. I can adapt how I work to suit your individual needs and circumstances.
I also work from a transpersonal perspective. This gives a place to the spiritual aspects of existence. It sees therapy not as a medical process of fixing your problems, but as a soulful process of honouring the wounds to your deep emotional self and seeking your true destiny.
