About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Susannah, and I am an integrative counsellor with a person-centred core approach, offering a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely. With over 25 years of experience working with adults, children, families, and professionals, I use various therapeutic and creative techniques tailored to your needs to help you uncover your inner strengths.

I am qualified to work with Adults and Young People and am a member of the BACP. As well as growing a private practice I work in schools supporting children and young people with a variety of needs. I have experience within the NHS as an honorary counsellor for Macmillan in the oncology department, working with adult cancer patients and their families. I have extensive experience in supporting adults and children with special needs and have worked with a variety of issues such as grief, loss, anxiety, depression, self-harm, separation and family dynamics.

Practice description

My practice is grounded in empathy and a desire to genuinely understand and connect to your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to express yourself without fear of criticism. Through this collaborative process, you can gain deeper self-awareness, overcome personal challenges, and achieve greater emotional well-being and resilience.

My work is underpinned by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist’s (BACP's) Ethical Framework, ensuring I practise safely, ethically and to high professional standards. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
