About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Eli and I am a BACP registered Person-Centred Counsellor based in North Wales.
Working in a person-centred way, I place you at the core of our sessions. I aim to create a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, warmth, and acceptance to help you navigate through a challenging moment in your life, where you can reflect on and process your experiences and feel empowered through your exploration of self.
There are many reasons why you might want to engage in counselling, they may be current, buried or almost forgotten experiences. Whatever you are going through, you don't have to do it alone, I can support you in a confidential, safe space where together we can explore what you feel ready and safe to share.
Practice description
I firmly believe that being in nature can greatly support our mental health because it gives us a space to find perspective, freedom, and peace. Since it's not always possible to be outside, I've created a welcoming room nestled into the corner of my field that evokes the tranquillity and freedom that comes with being in nature.
I provide therapy sessions in "The Hut," where we can experience the soothing, restorative effects of nature while seated comfortably in our chairs. And/or, we can talk as we walk around the field, sit in the woodland, or meander around the local area. Walking in nature can be less intense and you may find it easier to discuss your problems when strolling through nature.
