About me and my therapy practice
Therapy offers a trusted and emotionally attuned relationship that supports healing, growth, and meaningful change.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor with a PhD in Psychology, I offer a warm, open, and evidence-based approach to therapy. The demands of work, relationships, or personal goals can feel overwhelming, leading to stress, anxiety, low mood, or a sense of being ‘stuck’. Together, we will navigate these challenges, deepening your self-awareness, and taking meaningful steps towards your goals.
I am committed to building a trusted connection where you feel able to work through difficult emotions and explore life’s challenges at depth. This process can help you to find greater meaning and purpose, strengthen your self-worth, and build more fulfilling relationships in all areas of your life.
The use of the title Dr in this directory listing relates to the member’s doctorate qualification. However, this does not imply a general medical qualification.
Practice description
I work with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, and loss. Additionally, I have specific expertise in navigating work and career-related challenges, from early career planning to career transitions, leadership and retirement.
Whatever brings you to therapy, you can expect a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where we can explore your concerns, personal history, and goals for the future together.
I offer sessions online. Sessions run for 50 minutes and are offered on a regular or flexible basis depending on your needs.
My first session
Prior to working together, I offer a free 15-minute initial telephone conversation. This is a confidential conversation to understand what has brought you to therapy and how I might be able to help you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and find out if I am the right counsellor for you.
Our first session will give you the opportunity to discuss your situation in more depth and share what you would like to achieve through therapy. We will also discuss how we can best work together to achieve your aims.

I offer 50-minute therapy sessions at my practice in Newbury town centre. My therapy rooms are located in St Mary’s House on London Road, a refurbished Georgian building, just a 15-minute walk from Newbury railway station. Free parking is available during session times. I also offer online sessions on a regular or flexible basis depending on your needs.
For parents or guardians: I have extensive experience supporting young people (aged 16-25) in managing academic and social pressures, while helping them develop their strengths and find direction toward realising their potential.
