About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative counsellor, I work with person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches to provide a safe and effective counselling experience. I offer a confidential space where you can explore issues that trouble or interrupt your daily life. My goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgemental environment where you can openly discuss anything you choose. Whether you're dealing with current challenges or unresolved past experiences, I am here to support you in working through them.

My experience spans working with children, young people, and adults, and I am dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards as a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Practice description

I offer a safe space in which you can talk and be listened to without judgement. A space to explore feelings, emotions and experiences. My goal is to help you discover a deeper understanding of yourself.

I am an integrative counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and extensive clinical experience in the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service. I also have long-term experience working with carers at a support service and bring a personal understanding of disabilities and learning difficulties to my practice.

With over 25 years of experience in education, I offer counselling within school settings to students and young people. My background includes working with a wide range of issues such as social interaction, emotional support, autism (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, children and young people's mental health, walk and talk therapy, school avoidance, pastoral care, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.

I provide a safe and supportive space where you can talk and be listened to without judgement. Our sessions will be a confidential environment where you can explore your feelings, emotions, and experiences, helping you discover a deeper understanding of yourself. Whether you are dealing with current challenges or reflecting on past experiences, my goal is to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.

I draw on my personal experiences with physical and learning disabilities and am passionate about offering counselling to a diverse range of individuals, including those with physical and learning disabilities as well as older adults. As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you and help you achieve a greater sense of well-being.
