About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Mark, and I'm a qualified couples psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapy and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Are you and your partner feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about the future of your relationship? I am here to help you navigate these challenges with care, insight, and professionalism.

Relationships are complex, and every couple’s journey is unique. My role is to provide a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where we can explore your needs and goals. Whether you’re seeking to strengthen your connection, resolve conflicts, or consider a respectful separation, I will guide you toward the right outcome for your relationship.

Drawing on evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and systemic techniques, I tailor sessions to your specific circumstances. My integrative approach ensures that therapy is flexible and responsive, addressing your individual and shared needs with empathy and expertise.

Practice description

As a BACP member, I adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards, offering therapy grounded in trust, respect, and confidentiality. I have experience supporting couples from diverse backgrounds—including LGBTQ+ and non-traditional partnerships. I bring cultural sensitivity and a deep commitment to fostering understanding and growth.

Therapy isn’t just about staying together at all costs—it’s about creating clarity, improving communication, and empowering you to make decisions that reflect your values and priorities. Whatever your relationship’s future holds, I’m here to help you navigate it with confidence and compassion.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also an act of courage and care. Reach out today to book a consultation, and let’s work together to create the clarity and connection you deserve.

My first session

Typically I would do a free initial 30-minute consult with couples who are considering working with me (either online or in person); the purpose of the session is to talk you through my approach and experience, as well as give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. It's really important that you work with someone you feel is the right fit for you.

Should we progress to therapy, our first session will be all about getting to know you better and getting a better understanding of what your goals for therapy are. We'll explore the issues and decide on the best way forward.
