About me and my therapy practice
Being an integrated therapist, I am a friendly, skilled counselor who uses a gentle listening technique. Whether you're struggling with relationships, families, and the responsibilities of life, or you're feeling numb and overwhelmed by emotions, I will support you in feeling secure, accepted, and believed.
I am able to offer a variety of therapy based on each client's need. Person-Centred Therapy, which grounds the therapeutic connection around the individual and their experiences, is the cornerstone of my work.
Collaborating with the client to identify solutions and techniques that will not only be beneficial in the short run but also equip them with lifelong resources is the essence of effective therapy.
I am enthusiastic about providing a professional service because I think therapy may enhance life pleasure, assist people retain excellent mental health, and help them develop emotional resilience.
In addition to providing a nonjudgmental, private, and professional service, I can work with clients in-person, over the phone, and online.
Practice description
If something doesn’t feel right in your life; or if you’re feeling disconnected somehow; then counseling is a confidential space where you can understand and value yourself more, and find meaning amongst your memories. You can unpack your worries at a safe pace; nourish your hopes; or explore how past experiences have affected or transformed you. Over time, your mind adapts so you feel ready to deal with some of the knotty stuff that comes your way.
I believe in being able to provide skills to my client that they will be able to utilize for the rest of their lives.
My first session
You might not have talked with a counsellor before or have had bad experiences before; I know this might be a big step. So I aim to demystify the counselling process: I’ll give you an idea up-front about what therapy might look like, and help you choose what you’d like to do. Above all, we will find a way that works for you. The first call with me is free and lasts for up to 20 minutes.
