I work in Brighton on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday until late evening.
I work at a clinic in Burgess Hill on Wednesdays and Fridays.
About me and my therapy practice
I completed specialist Child and Adolescent training in integrative psychotherapy (meaning different theoretical approaches combined into a whole) at Terapia in London. The training equipped me to work in a range of therapeutic techniques including but not limited to, creative arts, sand tray, art, music, clay, play therapy and talking therapy. The foundation of the training is understanding the development of children and teenagers throughout the life course and developing advanced observation skills.
I am a trauma informed therapist and work hard to make the therapy relationship and space feel safe and comfortable from the start. I have a special interest in attachment difficulties and adverse childhood experiences and have completed training in EMDR, a specialist trauma therapy, as well as attachment based parenting support and working with complex trauma and dissociation in children, teenagers and adults.
I have worked therapeutically in a range of settings including child bereavement services, complex grief and trauma, early intervention social care services, Looked After and Adopted Services, and early intervention Child & Adolescent Mental health services.
Practice description
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to healing distress and difficulties, to build self resilience, and to develop self awareness and coping skills. I will work hard to build a trusting relationship within a confidential and non judgmental space.
Children and teenagers exits within a system of relationships, and essential within this system are parents and carers. When working with parents, I see my role as supporting them in thinking about how to understand and support their children through difficult periods in their lives, and to work alongside parents to utilise therapeutic thinking in their daily lives.
I offer short and long term therapy and work hard to be open and transparent about the length of therapy and the desired aims of the work.
I work from a spacious office in Brighton, which is fully equipped with all the items needed for art and creative work.
My office has a lift and is wheelchair accessible. There is reasonably priced on-street parking, with the option to reserve a space in our private car park. There is also a bathroom and a waiting area for clients and/their parents.

As a qualified and experienced clinical supervisor, I offer supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists, and professionals working with Children and Young People. I am a UKCP registered Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and Member of BACP.
I am passionate about developing the practice of therapists and developing therapeutic and reflective skills for professionals working independently and in organisations. I offer supervision to individuals and small groups to both qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people across youth work organisations, and in specialist child bereavement and counselling charities.
