Availability

I work in Brighton on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday until late evening.

I work at a clinic in Burgess Hill on Wednesdays and Fridays.

About me and my therapy practice

I completed specialist Child and Adolescent training in integrative psychotherapy (meaning different theoretical approaches combined into a whole) at Terapia in London. The training equipped me to work in a range of therapeutic techniques including but not limited to, creative arts, sand tray, art, music, clay, play therapy and talking therapy. The foundation of the training is understanding the development of children and teenagers throughout the life course and developing advanced observation skills.

I am a trauma informed therapist and work hard to make the therapy relationship and space feel safe and comfortable from the start. I have a special interest in attachment difficulties and adverse childhood experiences and have completed training in EMDR, a specialist trauma therapy, as well as attachment based parenting support and working with complex trauma and dissociation in children, teenagers and adults.

I have worked therapeutically in a range of settings including  child bereavement services, complex grief and trauma, early intervention social care services, Looked After and Adopted Services, and early intervention Child & Adolescent Mental health services.

Practice description

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to healing distress and difficulties, to build self resilience, and to develop self awareness and coping skills. I will work hard to build a trusting relationship within a confidential and non judgmental space.

Children and teenagers exits within a system of relationships, and essential within this system are parents and carers. When working with parents, I see my role as supporting them in thinking about how to understand and support their children through difficult periods in their lives, and to work alongside parents to utilise therapeutic thinking in their daily lives.

I offer short and long term therapy and work hard to be open and transparent about the length of therapy and the desired aims of the work.

I work from a spacious office in Brighton, which is fully equipped with all the items needed for art and creative work.

My office has a lift and is wheelchair accessible. There is reasonably priced on-street parking, with the option to reserve a space in our private car park.  There is also a bathroom and a waiting area for clients and/their parents.

I offer a complimentary introductory phone call to make sure I'm the right therapist for you. Following that, I would want to meet for a full session to better understand the issue you want support with and to begin to formulate a treatment plan. About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified and experienced clinical supervisor, I offer reflective, supportive, and relational supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and professionals working with children, adolescents, and young people. I am a UKCP-registered Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and a Member of BACP, with 25 years experience across youth work, bereavement services, and NHS commissioned therapeutic services.

I provide supervision to qualified and trainee therapists, offering both individual and small group formats. I am passionate about supporting the development of ethical, reflective, and responsive practice—whether you’re working independently, in schools, or within organisations. My supervisory approach is open, collaborative, and creative, encouraging supervisees to explore their client work with curiosity and confidence. I aim to provide a safe space where you can bring both your strengths and challenges, fostering growth in both your clinical work and professional identity.

My background includes extensive experience in youth services, bereavement counselling, and as Clinical Lead for a BACP-accredited, NHS-commissioned adolescent mental health service. I deeply understand the value of high-quality supervision in supporting safe, effective practice and sustaining therapist wellbeing.

My first session

I offer an initial, no-obligation 30-minute consultation via phone or video call to explore your supervision needs. This conversation is an opportunity for us both to consider whether we’re a good fit for working together.

During this initial meeting, we’ll discuss your professional background, current practice, areas of interest, and what you’re hoping to gain from supervision. If we agree that the match feels right, we can schedule a follow-up conversation or move forward with arranging your first supervision session.

Our first supervision session will focus on building a collaborative working relationship and co-creating a structure that meets your needs. My aim is to provide a supportive and empowering space where you feel safe to reflect on your therapeutic work, navigate challenges, and explore your personal and professional development.

Whether you're looking to deepen your clinical insight, strengthen your work with children, young people, and families, or simply find a space to think creatively and critically about your practice, I will work with you to ensure supervision supports both your confidence and competence as a practitioner.
