About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred counsellor, my therapeutic work is rooted in empathy, compassion, and an unwavering belief in your ability to grow and heal.
I bring experience in supporting individuals through a wide spectrum of challenges, from navigating the complexities of living with cancer to addressing relationship concerns and personal struggles.

Practice description
As a person-centred counsellor, you can expect a warm, respectful, and collaborative approach to therapy. I prioritise creating a safe, confidential environment where you feel truly heard and valued.
My focus is on understanding your perspective and working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I won’t direct or judge you but will gently guide and support you as we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Together, we will work to uncover insights and solutions that align with your values and goals. My role is to empower you, fostering self-awareness and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and authenticity.
My first session
I offer a short, free, introductory phone call to establish whether we are a suitable fit for one another. In this call we will discuss broadly what has brought you to counselling and how we may be able to work together.
During our initial session, we will focus on setting goals, completing some initial assessments to better understand your needs, and creating a working agreement. This contract will outline the boundaries, expectations, and practical aspects of our therapeutic relationship, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding from the outset. This session is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and confident about embarking on this journey.
