About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Ryan and I am a highly qualified and experienced counsellor for children and young people under the age of 24. I understand that it can be a big step to seek counselling for yourself or a loved one and I am dedicated to providing a safe, warm and empathic space for you or your loved one to find support.
I work with a range of difficulties including, but not limited to;
- self-esteem,
- depression,
- suicidal ideation,
- self-harm,
- anxiety,
- bereavement,
- family relationships,
- friendships,
- school refusal,
- bullying,
- identity,
- anger,
- gender dysphoria,
- sexual identity,
- OCD,
- trauma.
My working style is integrative, which means I blend both cognitive and creative therapies to better support each client on their journey. I am qualified to work in psychodynamic, person-centred, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and creative therapies, meaning I can tailor each therapeutic journey to the client's personality and specific needs.
I am passionate about supporting young people in crisis and have dedicated my whole career and skills base to doing so.
