About me and my therapy practice
Dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's complexities, I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space. A nurturing environment, where you can foster a better relationship with yourself and others; explore, heal and grow.
With a background in Adult Social Care empowering individuals to make positive changes that align with their personal goals and aspirations, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds, age groups and needs, including mental health and learning difficulties.
My counselling experience includes working with clients through challenging transitions and direction in life, processing grief and loss, managing stress, anxiety and depression, healing from trauma, navigating relationship difficulties, neurodiversity and coping with chronic health conditions and pain.
Qualifications:
PGDip in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (UEL, London UK)
BA (Hons) in Sociology (Panteion University, Athens Greece)
Practice description
As an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I take a Person-Centered approach to working with clients, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Mindfulness-based approaches.
Believing in the uniqueness of each individual and recognising that no style of therapy fits all, I tailor my therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you're addressing a current challenge, preparing for a significant life transition, exploring your past, seeking deeper self-understanding, or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, I'll support you every step of the way honoring your pace and preferences.
My first session
Embarking on a therapeutic journey can sometimes feel like a daunting step, especially if it is your first time. Therefore, I offer a free 20’ initial consultation, where we can explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your expectations, and any goals you may have. I will provide insight into the various types of therapy that could suit your needs, to craft a roadmap for our work together.
The initial consultation is free, while my standard rate for ongoing sessions is £70 per session. However, I offer a limited number of low-cost options for those facing financial challenges. Please feel free to let me know if this is something you might need, and we can explore this further. If for any reason I am not the right therapist for you, I will try to refer you to a colleague or organisations that may be able to help.
