About me and my therapy practice
One of the hardest things in life is to reach out and ask for help. I provide a calm and safe space in which you can explore and talk openly about your issues, struggles and life challenges. I am an experienced therapist working in private practice in Battersea, SW11 and Chelsea/Belgravia.
I work with a broad range of people, of all ages, all with unique life experiences.
You are welcome to contact me by email to discuss your situation before arranging an initial consultation. All communication is treated with the utmost respect and in complete confidence.
I offer both short term focused work and open-ended long-term therapy.
Practice description
I am a transpersonal integrative therapist and trained with the Psychosynthesis Education and Trust in London Bridge. I work creatively using a range of therapeutic approaches to support clients in their struggles and crises and to explore what is trying to emerge, whether it be a deeper sense of peace or purpose in their lives.
I believe that the core qualities of a therapist are acceptance, being non-judgmental, unconditional positive regard and empathy.
I see psychotherapy as a deeply personal and private process: a therapeutic journey in which you explore the many aspects of yourself and your life. The first stage of the process is building trust with me your therapist, so you feel safe enough to talk about your issues. Then we can start to delve more deeply into what brings you to therapy. Therapy can be transformative. However, as with any process, it can take time to work through the complexities of your life, challenges and defences.
I have extensive experience in the field of addiction and bereavement. I have worked in Drug and Alcohol Primary Treatment Care and as a counsellor for the NHS.
I have over 20 years of experience in teaching somatic work and have a particular interest in the connection between the body, the mind and feelings for overall wellbeing and mental health.
I am registered with the BACP and abide by their ethical code of practice.

We can then decide together whether short-term therapy (usually six to twelve weekly sessions) or a long-term/open-ended approach is appropriate.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced therapist working for the NHS in Putney, and in private practice in Chelsea/Belgravia and Battersea.
I work with a broad range of people of all ages, all with unique life experiences.
I believe that the core qualities of a therapist are acceptance, being non-judgmental, unconditional positive regard and empathy. Empathy isn’t the same as sympathy. It is about being kind, supportive and at times challenging.
