About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified person centered counsellor. I work with individuals both male and female with a diverse range of difficulties.

Life brings many challenges and it is understandable that at times we might look for support with someone from outside our day-to-day life. Talking to someone who listens without judgement can bring clarity and help to unravel the thoughts in your head and empower you to make positive changes in your life.

I work with individuals suffering depression, anxiety, attachment issues, relationships, sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence and bereavement, along with many other issues that have impacted their lives.

I work with male and female survivors of sexual and domestic abuse - the fear, sadness, anger, guilt, humiliation, self blame and confusion. I offer a safe and confidential space to explore these difficult emotions.

Bereavement and loss affects us all at some times in our lives, loss of a job, divorce, friendship or loss of a loved one.  Grief can be a complicated journey. It's normal to feel overwhelmed, angry, sad, empty and lost and a whole range of other emotions. Including total confusion. The range of emotions can change from one minute to the next and leave us feeling discombobulated and out of control.

I work with young people from 16 up who are struggling, anxiety, depression, bullying, difficulties forming or maintaining relationships, low self esteem, family issues. I understand that being a teenager can be really hard and confusing.

My first session

In our first session, we will talk about what you want to get out of the sessions or if you have any goals to work towards.

If you are on unsure on how to work or what to bring we can unpick the difficulties and make a plan together which we can review over time.
