About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Ceri. I understand the absolute importance of finding the right therapist and also the correct type of therapy for your needs.
I am integrative within my approach , meaning that I am trained in using the relevant therapy for you and your personal needs and issues. I appreciate that starting therapy can be a scary and daunting aspect, and I can assure you that you will be given a very comfortable, confidential, non judgmental safe space within our sessions and also work at a pace that suits you.
I am professional and approachable and I offer both short term and long term therapy. I also do my best to accommodate emergency and crisis clients as I appreciate the fact that therapy can be a matter of urgency at times.
My therapies include psychodynamic, person centred, CBT, NLP, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Humanistic, solution focused and I specialise in bereavement and loss.
So whether feel that you have lost your way, you are anxious , struggling with relationships, loss, bereavement, peri menopausal/menopausal, find yourself in a pattern of unhealthy relationships, have questions regarding your sexuality, struggling with self esteem or feel that you really are at crisis point with nowhere to turn, or simply feeling depressed and uncertain in life, then please contact me. Your head is where you live so let’s try and make a nice place to be.
I am based in Pontypool and my therapy room is cosy, quiet and homely.
Thank you for reading my profile.
My first session
The initial session is a 50 minute no obligation chance to explore and simply talk about your. current presenting difficulties.
This session will be a non judgmental space and it will give you chance to hopefully help you feel comfortable. I appreciate that the first step can feel uncertain and a little daunting, and that’s perfectly ok.
At the end of the session we can discuss further sessions should you wish.
