About me and my therapy practice
I am an adult psychoanalyst graduated from the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, and a parent-infant psychotherapist from the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
To help you achieve your goals and personal growth, I explore with you your unconscious that impact on your path to your conscious goals and development, despite your explicit efforts to achieve them. These goals may be related to study, work, intimate relationships, parenthood and general personal growth and well-being. The difficulties you may struggle with could be anxiety, depression, affect regulation, repetitive patterns of experiences with self and the others, separation and abandonment, migration, parenting and so on.
Practice description
I work with individuals, parents and their infants, children or adolescents. I have years of experience working with the Chinese, Hong Kongers and the international communities.
Usually, we will meet for the first few sessions to try out. It is an open-ended process and you can decide when to stop. To ensure a good outcome, I provide regularity and consistency in terms of timeslot and availability. For children who need direct help, I would meet the parents or guardians first to understand their concerns and their background.
