About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred counsellor, which means I work collaboratively with you to develop a personalised approach that fits your unique needs. I especially enjoy supporting individuals dealing with ADHD, Autism, navigating questions of identity and sexuality, or struggling with work stress and burnout. Whether you're facing a difficult life situation or simply want to understand yourself better, I'm here to offer support and guidance.
In my practice, I create a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your feelings and challenges at your own pace, without judgment. Whether you're seeking clarity or coping tools, I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey towards greater well-being.
I have experience working both in a time-limited short-term way and in offering longer-term therapy. Throughout my career, I've supported people with a wide range of challenges, working with NHS referrals, employment services, and the charity sector.
Neurodiversity Affirming. I'm committed to working with neurodivergent clients in a neuro-affirming way, valuing their unique experiences and strengths.
Inclusive Practice. I create a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and members of other marginalised communities.
I hold an MSc Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Strathclyde and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their Ethical Framework.
Practice description
In my work, I especially value the collaborative relationship that we build together in the sessions. I offer a non-judgmental and safe space where I can support you in exploring your inner experience at a comfortable pace. This will look different for everyone, and I will always aim to work with your needs in the moment. This might involve offering you the space to speak about your experiences, gently challenging you, or exploring alternative forms of expressing yourself.
My first session
Before we start working together I offer a free 20 minute consultation call to discuss your expectations and goals in therapy. As the relationship in counselling is very important, it is also a chance to check if we are a good fit to work together.What I can help with
