About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Catherine, and I offer you a safe space to be curious about yourself, your experiences and how they might be impacting you.
I am passionate about helping people who are looking to make changes and want to help themselves. I am qualified as a counsellor to do just that. I have the training, skills, empathy and compassion to support you through your healing – as you face the challenges of living a more authentic life, true to your own needs and values.
If you are experiencing fear, anxiety, overwhelming sadness or other forms of emotional distress and pain I can work alongside you and guide you past your blocks, barriers and sticking points.
Together, we can look at past events and patterns that are shaping your experience. We will look at what is limiting you emotionally and enable you to find your own lasting solutions, with my support. You have your own power and I will help you harness it.
Practice description
I am a person-centred counsellor whose face to face practice is coaching informed. This means that we can structure our work together in a way that acknowledges goals and how to achieve them. We will explore how best to achieve the outcomes you set at the beginning of therapy.
I look forward to working with you as you forge a new pathway to the kind of future you want for yourself.
My first session
I complete a face to face assessment prior to commencing counselling sessions, this usually takes approximately 60 minutes at my usual session rate of £55. This offers an opportunity for us to meet, outline your therapeutic needs, and allow you to get a feel for how I work and whether you think it may help you.
