About me and my therapy practice

Are you finding life challenging or overwhelming? Are you feeling stuck and unable to move on? Do you feel unsupported, unseen or unheard? Are you struggling with a life change or a traumatic event? If so, I can work with you to lighten the load and to help you find your way to a better life.

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP. My way of working is person-centred, which means that I will support you to find your best way forward by exploring whatever thoughts and feelings you choose to bring to the sessions. I am also trained in Transactional Analysis and Gestalt, and so I can call on a variety of insights and tailor my way of working with you to suit your individual needs.

I have experience working with a range of issues including problems with confidence or low self-esteem, problems with personal or work relationships, anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, and difficult life changes. Your reasons for seeking therapy will be specific to you, and counselling can be helpful for anyone, no matter how big or small the struggle may seem.

I see adults of any age, gender, race, religion, culture or sexual orientation.

I abide by the BACP code of ethical conduct, and my work is supervised by a clinical supervisor in order to ensure it remains safe and ethical.

Practice description

I am a therapeutic counsellor and psychotherapist at Time 2 Talk Counselling. I am available for face to face sessions in Kingston Bagpuize near Abingdon. I also work online.

I offer a free no-obligation phone call of up to 20 minutes so that you can ask questions and get a feel for whether I would be the right therapist for you.

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long, and generally held on a weekly basis, and for as long as you feel you need them.

My first session

In the first session, we will start to unpack your concerns and look at what you hope to gain from therapy, and I will explain more about how I can work with you to achieve your objectives.
