BY USING DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES I WILL TAILOR YOUR SESSIONS TO SUIT YOU AND YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
Practice description
I believe in the power of empathy, active listening and non-judgmental support to help clients navigate through difficult circumstances, overcome obstacles, understand what is going on within them and how to get to a better place.With a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals at different stages of life, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
It may be daunting for you to consider the first steps of counselling, but my aim is to help you to feel safe enough to talk openly about things you might find difficult and to provide a non-judgmental, safe and confidential place to start your journey.
I can help you to clarify your thoughts, feelings & emotions so you may be better equipped to make more conscious choices that can improve the quality of your life and well-being.
Whether it's addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma or self-esteem, my goal is to empower clients to develop effective coping strategies and build resilience. By creating a warm and nurturing therapeutic relationship, I encourage open communication and honesty, working alongside clients to foster positive change and enhance their overall quality of life.
My first session
I offer a free 15min telephone consultation before your initial session so you can understand how I work and we can discuss what times/days work for us both. This also means you have an opportunity to ask me some questions about the way I work.
During our first session, I sometimes require an assessment which is kept confidential.
