About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, caring, non-judgmental space for you to explore your troubling feelings and thoughts. I walk alongside you, listen to your stories, help you connect with those painful parts and support you to gain the tools to improve your life.

I am a Therapeutic Counsellor, and my practice is based in Oxton Wirral. It is an Integrated practice which means that I draw upon theories such as Person Client-Centred, CBT and Transactional Analysis; this allows my approach to adapt to fit the unique individual client.

My approach is guided and informed by Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Breathwork but essentially, I am influenced by you.

Being a Holistic Therapist I also work with acute and chronic physical stress illness from the whole person perspective. Focussing on addressing the emotional impact and its physical manifestations.

I can offer a combination of Talk Therapy and Body Somatic Therapy for effective emotional and traumatic healing. I also provide Walking and Talking Therapy which is very popular and useful.

I am passionate about what Counselling can do to improve life. Central to my practice is building a strong therapeutic relationship with you. I see therapy as a process of working together exploring what can help improve how you feel.

After going through several difficult times in my own life I sought help from a therapist. It was a life changing growth experience for me and one which has given me the ability to lead a happier and more spiritual fulfilled life. I have over 30 years of personal experience of participating in Gestalt Groups and workshops.

I believe that education is a key factor in our wellbeing & personal development. I regularly attend training days, read articles and books. Listen to podcasts to keep my knowledge and skills fresh and up to date. I often share tools and techniques to help clients deal with life’s challenges and hopefully improve their mood and outlook.
