I work in person in Chiswick W4, in Hammersmith W6 and online
About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with individuals in Hammersmith, London W6, Chiswick W4 and online.
Quite often, people will come to therapy longing for change, feeling stuck or in a time of grief or crisis they simply cannot manage alone.
Whatever brings you to therapy at this time, I offer a sensitive, reflective and respectful space to be heard, to explore and perhaps to see and feel things differently.
I will draw on different approaches and perspectives to find ways to bring more of yourself and your experience into awareness. I will also make space for soul in the work, which can offer solace, bring in questions of meaning and open new ways of understanding yourself and your experience.
I trust that you will find what you need within and will meet you where you are in this moment with openness and compassion.
While I work with clients bringing a broad range of concerns, I have a particular interest in trauma, addiction and the impact of addiction in families.
Practice description
In the work together, we'll talk and reflect for a time - noticing what’s present and how that might be influenced by the past.
We might attend to dreams, images, sensations in the body (if that feels safe), and other creative ways to find what needs to be made conscious. I work relationally and may also notice what is happening in the room between us.
I am a cis gender woman and I'm aware that this brings perspectives and experiences which may be different from your own. These differences deserve to be honoured, treated with respect and can bring real richness to the work together.
My first session
When you contact me, I may suggest a brief call to make sure that we can work together and that I can offer the right kind of support. There is no charge for this.
From there, we would meet for an initial 50 minute session, which is an opportunity for us to gain a sense of how it might be to work together and for you to ask any questions you have.
I will ask more questions in this session than later to make sure I understand what brings you, what you are hoping for and that my approach will be a good fit for you. I charge the full fee for this session.
We may have a sense in this meeting that it feels right to continue, or you may need a few days to decide and there is no obligation.

About me and my therapy practice
I work with adult individuals (including young adults and older adults) on a short or longer term basis - drawing on different therapeutic models and perspectives with each person, while holding a soulful frame for our work.
I offer a reflective and respectful space for clients to bring what needs to be felt and witnessed. I will notice what happens in the room between us, what may be held in the body and include ways of making conscious what might need to be felt from the past that is causing difficulty in the present.
I work with a broad range of concerns - from loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression, to relationship issues, shame, identity, sexuality and more generalised feelings of stuckness, loneliness or disquiet.
I have a particular interest in trauma and addiction and the lasting impact of addiction in families. Also in the challenges and potentials of transitional times in life (quarter life, midlife and later life for example.)
Practice description
Allowing space for soul in the room can bring in questions of meaning and allow for moments of meeting where you can come to know yourself and what matters to you more deeply.
“If we could allow the pace of our meetings to slow down to the pace of our hearts, we might find genuine understanding.” - Marion Woodman
We cannot know at the outset what the journey will bring. My hope is to accompany you on a journey towards a sustainable change in your relationship to yourself and what has happened to bring you to therapy.
