About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm, approachable counsellor, committed to providing a safe, confidential space where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges without judgement. I deeply respect each person’s unique journey, and together, we can find insights and solutions that fit with your life. Whether you’re facing the loss of a loved one—including a beloved companion animal—or managing other personal struggles, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and support.
My practice focuses on offering person-centred, trauma-informed support for those dealing with grief and loss, including bereavement from the loss of a loved one, loss by suicide, or the passing of a companion animal. I also work with clients facing emotional and psychological challenges such as trauma, domestic violence, recurring negative thoughts, low self-esteem, and self-doubt. Additionally, I help individuals navigate relational difficulties, workplace stress, and inner conflicts around identity and purpose. My approach is aimed at helping you heal from past trauma, rebuild resilience, and rediscover a sense of self-worth, supporting your growth and confidence.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a master’s degree in counselling and bring extensive experience from my work with a leading UK charity, where I support clients through a range of life challenges. I am committed to ongoing professional development and have specialized training in complex trauma, working with shame, and self-harm. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am especially passionate about providing sensitive support for those grieving the loss of a companion animal. As a registered member of the Association of Pet Bereavement Counsellors, I offer compassionate understanding for this unique form of loss.
My own life experiences reinforce my belief in each person’s resilience. I am here to help you find a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.
