About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m a down-to-earth and dedicated counsellor who aims to create a safe and understanding space where you can explore whatever you're going through. With a deep respect for each person’s unique journey, I believe in your ability to find the solutions that truly fit your life. I’m here to sit alongside you and support you as you work through your life challenges—whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, including a beloved companion animal, or navigating other difficulties. I work with various issues and bring a genuine love for what I do to each session.

I specialise in providing compassionate, person-centred, and trauma-informed counselling for individuals dealing with grief, loss (including the loss of a companion animal, loved one, or a loss by suicide), domestic violence, and emotional struggles. I also support clients navigating relationship challenges, work-related stress, low self-esteem, and inner conflicts around identity and purpose. My approach helps clients heal from past trauma, build resilience, and rediscover joy and self-trust, creating space for personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications and experience:

I hold a master’s degree in counselling and, alongside my private practice, I work with a prominent UK charity, supporting clients through a wide range of issues. I am committed to ongoing professional development and hold certificates in areas such as complex trauma, working with shame, and self-harm. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am especially passionate about providing compassionate support for bereavement, including the loss of a companion animal. Additionally, I am a registered member of the Association of Pet Bereavement Counsellors.

My life experiences have reinforced my belief in the uniqueness of every individual, and I firmly believe in each person's ability to find their path.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
