About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Louise.
Are you are searching for a warm, genuine and easy to talk to online or telephone counsellor with availability now? I work with a wide range of client difficulties, particularly bereavement, anxiety and relationship difficulties.
I have 12 years of experience supporting clients with these difficulties. I offer online (video) or telephone counselling.
My specific expertise is in helping people struggling with their feelings following a miscarriage/baby loss/stillbirth and the grief that accompanies this loss.
Whether it is grief and loss, anxiety or a difficult relationship, you may have overwhelming and complex feelings that are difficult to manage and cope with.
You may find that you are not being understood by others around you. You may find it difficult to talk to people close to you, or to friends. Perhaps you feel lonely and isolated with your feelings and need to find a way forward.
You may be struggling to manage the way you feel and need to talk in a safe space, to understand yourself, find ways of managing and coping and to find a way forward.
Practice description
By you and I working together I will support you through this difficult time and provide the relationship that you need to make sense of your thoughts and your feelings, help you to understand yourself, find coping strategies and a way forward.
Sessions with me are always at your pace.
You may feel scared starting therapy. I offer a genuine, warm relationship that will help you to feel able to talk when you feel ready. You wont be alone.
If you would like to have a short telephone call to ask more questions or just get a feel for me as your potential therapist then please send me a message and I will get back to you.
My first session
In your first session I will welcome you and invite any questions you may have.
I know starting therapy can feel daunting. We will always work at your pace and in the way that feels right for you.
I will ask you what you hope to gain from therapy with me? This is so I can get an understanding of what you want to achieve. I will explore how we might work together to achieve this.
When you feel ready, together we can explore your difficult thoughts and feelings.
