About me and my therapy practice

As a fully qualified psychodynamic, relational therapist, I offer an accepting, exploratory, and empathic space to consider any and all aspects of your life. I believe that therapy is less about finding the solutions, and more about exploring the questions themselves.

I am committed to getting to know you and for us to work together to understand the issues you are facing. Each person is an individual and deserves to have autonomy over how they would like to use the therapeutic space!

I will work to build a relationship with you where you feel able to untangle some of your experience and find ways forward that feel authentic for you.

Practice description

I believe that therapy is a way to gain insight into yourself and what challenges and dynamics are impacting you. In our sessions, we will explore your thoughts and feelings and work together to make connections between different parts of your life. I believe that therapy is a place to be curious about the ways that your path and relationships in life have an impact on your present.

My practice aims to help you gain insight into what’s going on for you so that you have the choice to do things differently. I believe that therapy can help you know yourself more fully and that by exploring your own experience you can have the freedom to make changes in your life.

I have worked with a variety of people and settings, including in universities, charities, and schools. Across these experiences, I have worked with a range of ages, concerns, and identities. In my practice, I consistently reflect on the ways that culture and trauma impact our experiences in the world. I am mindful of the ways that class, gender, sexuality, identity, race, and ability are woven into our daily lives. I am commited to continually growing as a person and a therapist.

I charge between £55 to £65 per 50 minute session. The sliding scale is determined by you with no questions asked. I offer a reduced rate of £25 for an initial online meeting. I hold a limited amount of reduced rate sessions, please contact me about availability.

I'm aware that it can be tricky to get a sense of someone from reading a description and I welcome any questions or clarifications you may have!

My first session

I offer a reduced rate of £25 for an initial online meeting.

In this first meeting we will have space to get to know one another. I will share about my way of working and we will discuss what is bringing you to therapy at this time. In this meeting we can discuss your availability and the possibility of scheduling weekly sessions.

Introduction sessions are online and usually last between 25-50 minutes.

I firmly believe that finding the “right fit” therapist is crucial in the therapeutic process. It is more than normal for it to take a few therapists before you find one you really 'click' with. If you feel that we might be a good fit, please do reach out for an obligation free introduction!
