About me and my therapy practice
If you’re reading this then it’s likely you’re thinking about undertaking therapy, and you’re probably looking for reassurance. You may feel you have nowhere else to turn, or that there’s no-one who will listen to you. I want to reassure you that I’m there to help and I will really listen to your story, without judgement, helping you find ways to overcome the issues that have led you to seeking therapy.
You may be questioning why you feel like you don't belong, why your relationships seem to fail, why you can't be honest with others or yourself, or what might happen if you say no - or yes - to people. Being able to understand how and why we've taken our particular journey through life is key to accepting ourselves and living the life we truly want.
As a therapist trained in the Person-Centred approach, it is my job to help you understand how and why you've taken your particular journey. I won't tell you what you've done wrong or right - you need to come to those answers yourself, and no-one likes being told off!. But using my expertise I will help you come to those answers.
Practice description
I work from a counselling room in central Hereford - just a couple of minutes walk from the Cathedral. I offer an initial free, 15-minute phone assessment in order to discuss your needs and what you are looking for from therapy. My sessions are then 1 hour long, usually weekly, with no minimum or maximum number of sessions - the client is always in control of when to end therapy.
