Practice description
What to expect
As an Integrative Counsellor and Relationship Psychotherapist, I support both individuals and couples to find ways to deal with the struggles they are facing. I offer a compassionate, collaborative and non- judgemental space where you will be given time to explore your life at your own pace and be heard.
I will aim to provide you with the autonomy to decide what you wish to bring to each session and what kind of counselling works for you. We are all different and therefore I do not use a one size fits all approach to my clients. Some people like to just have a space to talk, some may want strategies to use and take home, some creative work.
I work within a mindful and holistic space, blending together counselling theory, grounding techniques and interventions in a tailor- made way to suit your needs. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and I work hard to empower you at every step.
You do not have to struggle alone. Counselling and Psychotherapy can support you to see things from different perspective and increase your self awareness and bring a sense of relief and clarity.
Some of the techniques I use within my client work are:
- Transactional Analysis which helps individuals to understand how to improve their communication skills.
- Narrative therapy can support the reframing past events.
- Attachment theory can help examine attachment style and how we are in relationship.
- Mindfulness can support us to self-regulate. It can empower us to transcend limiting belief and value systems.
- CBT can support individuals to analyse and change their thought patterns.
- Psychological Education
