Availability
Sessions can be flexible to suit your needs and lifestyle. I currently have availability for face-to-face sessions in Redcar and Guisborough Monday to Friday, along with evening sessions online Tuesdays and Thursdays. Face-to-face Saturday morning sessions are also possible in Guisborough if this works best for you.
About me and my therapy practice
Admitting that I need support with my mental health took a lot of courage, but the relief I felt when I could finally tell someone what it was really like to be me, and talk about what I had been through in a trusted relationship with my therapist was life changing. I just wish I had found the courage to do it sooner!
I totally understand how putting yourself out there and starting therapy can seem scary and overwhelming. The truth is therapy is not an easy option. It is possible you may feel worse before you feel better. Therapy does require you to put in effort.
Also true, therapy can change your life; your relationships with others and yourself; your quality of life – to free you to be able to live the life you truly want to live with real intention, purpose and a deep sense of inner peace.
I truly believe therapy is a gift we can give to ourselves. Be brave and take that first step. I believe in you!
My therapeutic way of working is grounded in a Person-centred approach with the addition of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based techniques. I also incorporate some more creative ways of working, as and when appropriate.
Practice description
As a client, you can expect a bespoke therapeutic experience based on your individual needs. We will work together to find a way forward that suits you, with the aim that you will feel supported and empowered in your therapeutic journey and beyond.My first session
I offer a free 20 minute introductory call to give us both the opportunity to learn a bit about each other and see if we would like to work together going forward.
